Join us for a beautiful day at the Upper Newport Bay! On Saturday, April 13, from 9am-12pm, we’ll work to restore wildlife habitat by removing invasive plants. We’ll also take time during the event to learn more about the natural and cultural history of the bay and the value of the habitats we’re restoring. Tools, gloves, training, and drinking water will be provided. Volunteers should be prepared to work outdoors with long pants, close-toed shoes, sun protection, and a water bottle. We’ll park and meet at the Back Bay Science Center (600 Shellmaker Road, Newport Beach 92660). Please visit www.facebook.com/cbrep for more information about the Community-Based Restoration and Education Program including photos of recent events. Thank you for your help!
