The Twelfth Annual

Michigan State University
Alumni Association of Orange County
Scholarship Golf Tournament & Dinner Fund Raiser!
Was a another success!

Another successful golf tournament in 2003!!  We raised over $20,000 for the MSU Scholarship fund.

We have sponsored donations of $120,000 for this very popular event over the last 6 years. So come on out and help Orange County students attend Michigan State. It's the largest commitment made by an MSU alumni club outside the state of Michigan. Most of the money comes from annual golf outing... that's where you come in.

Don't miss Twelfth 2004 Tournament and Dinner, complete with Raffle, Silent & Live Auctions...Great Stuff!

(If you can't come, how about sending the Fund a donation, anyway...)

The MSUOCAC is proud to announce that John L. Smith will be our special guest at this years golf tournament.

You can be a sponsor this year! The MSUAA of Orange County offers two sponsorship packages.

The first is tee or green sponsorships that cost just 100 dollars. A tee or green sponsorship gets you a sign at one of the beautiful holes at Tijeras Creek. In other words, we'll make you a cool tee sign for just a hundred dollars!

The second is a corporate sponsorship that costs just 250 dollars and you get a really, really big banner (like the ones below) with your company info and yes, a cool tee sign.

How the MSUAA of Orange County is Helping

The MSUAA of Orange Country has pledge $100,000 to the university to establish an endowed scholarship fund. This is the largest commitment made by an MSU alumni club outside the state of Michigan. The pledge was initiated in 1998 and since then the club has paid $100,000 towards their commitment.

Our goal is to help college-bound students from Orange County attend Michigan State. Eligible students must be a resident of Orange County and be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at MSU. Incoming freshmen must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a well rounded background. We're looking for someone who has been active in school and community. Someone who cares about his or her community. Most of the funds raised for the scholarship will come from our club's annual golf outing.

The golf tournament is open to anyone who golfs, or if you don't golf, please join us for dinner and fun. This years fund raiser will be held at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita on April 25, 2004.
